People tend to select stones depending on a range of factors, including their birthstone, the stone connected to their star sign, or on the properties of the stone.

To keep your jewellery looking sparkling and lustrous, observe the following care guidelines:

• Always store each piece of jewellery separately to avoid items being scratched. We recommend that when you travel, you pack your crystal jewellery pieces in their own boxes.

• Jewellery may be damaged by direct contact with sprays such as hairsprays, perfumes, deodorants or detergents and salt water. Always add jewellery last when dressing.

• Never wear jewellery in the bath, in bed or when exercising. This can cause unreasonable stress and wear and tear.

• Skin Magic Jewellery uses sterling silver fittings. If your Jewellery begins to tarnish, clean with a recognised Silver cleaning product.

• Do not wash your Skin Magic Crystal Jewellery. Dirt can be removed using a damp cloth, and the jewellery can be spiritually cleansed. You can do this by passing them over incense smoke, by using a set of Tingsha (Tibetan Cleansing Bells), or by using a cleansing crystal such as Amethyst. We use Amethyst beds to cleanse our crystals, as shown below - Amethyst charging beds and Tingsha are both available via our Showroom
